Everyone has a Song Story.
You know, you hear a familiar song out of the blue and BANG, a full, rich memory comes back to you in vivid detail, a memory about a time, a place, a feeling . . . and a song.
I'm inviting all of you to sit down, get out your iPhone or Samsung or laptop or whatever you have, and record YOUR story. Try and do a good job -- reduce the background noise, speak clearly -- I shouldn't have to explain this to media-savvy people like you! Keep the story to about 90 seconds if you can -- longer if you can't!
All I need is your words . . . in your voice. If your song is obscure, send me a link. If you need a specific version (live, cover, etc.) let me know. Then send me a message below. Depending on the size of your audio file, you can probably send your recording via email. If it's larger, I can give you a Dropbox or We Transfer link. Then, I'll turn your story into your Song Story. And I'll send you YOUR VERY OWN COPY before adding it to this site.

OK -- here's a great app for Android users that you can download to record your story on your smart phone. I've used this and it is very good. Just get somewhere where there's not a lot of background noise, press the button and record. Then you can share it via email to me.
